Multiple Sclerosis – MS is a lifelong, chronic disease that affects the central nervous system (CNS). MS is the second most common cause to neurological disability in younger adults.

MS is seen twice as often in women than in men. The MS/Neuroregistries contributes to improve the MS-care in Sweden and spread new knowledge about Multiple Sclerosis (MS) through research and communication.

The MS/Neuroregistries has grown and existed from the middle of the 1990s. More than 70 care-units from all counties from the whole of Sweden participates in the work with the registry.
